The park surrounding the castle has plenty of cherry trees which provide some excellent photo opportunities with the castle in the background. In particular Nishinomaru Garden is famous for 600 cherry trees that bloom gloriously in Spring. The night cherry blossom viewing event is held during blooming periods, attracting a large number of viewers.

It is located in Temmabashi Station. The custom of making pathways lined with cheery trees here open to the public for only a week in the middle of April every year. This year you can go from 9th-15th Apr, 2019. It is famous for the more than 300 cheery trees, which stand on its premises. Over 100 cherry varieties, mostly later blooming Yaezakura trees can be viewed there!😆

If you don’t like crowded places, I prefer to go here because this is the place you can laid-back!😁 But you have to pre-register to picnic, drink and chat under the cherry blossom.(When you come here with not many friends, don’t need to do it tho!) And there is an aquarium nearby so why don’t you go there also?🐬
