There is several type of travel.
Feeling history trip.
Experiencing culture trip.
Finding new friend trip.
In this page, I want to recommend “Eating Trip”.
Do you like eating?
If you say YES, let’s go to one day trip in Nagoya! Is your stomach ready?
Konparu
In Nagoya, there is unique culture, it’s called “Morning”. What’s “morning”? That is, at cafe, if you order 1 cup of coffee, you can have a toast and egg (sometimes small Banana as well) for free. (sometimes they take small amount)
At Konparu, you can take famous sandwich by 130yen only, if you order 1 cup of drink. The most famous sandwich is “Fried Shrimp” sandwich. How yammy!
Ankakeya
Have you ever heard “Ankake spaghetti”? It is not normal spaghetti. Noodles are thicks and chewy. Souse is rich. They enjoy with sausage or egg. It’s completely different from European pasta. This is Nagoya style!! In the middle of eating, I recommend you to add Powdered Cheese. I really love it!
Cafe Mountain
After eating lunch, how about go to cafe for chilling out? However, this cafe is not “normal cafe”. Recommendation for who want to spice up, that is Cafe Mountain. Let’s order shaved ice, do you prefer, Strawberry flavor? Melon flavor? Or Squid ink flavor?
Shirakawa
Finally! Time to dinner!! Have you ever had grilled Unagi (Japanese eel) bowl? It’s one of my favorite food. In Nagoya, Hitsumabushi is one of specialty. Hitsumabushi is finely chopped broiled eel over rice, then they eat divided into 4 times. 1st bowl, they eat simply, as it is. On 2nd, they eat with some condiment, like green onion or Japanese pepper. 3rd bowl, they soak rice with Dashi soup. Last one, you can eat as you want.
Eel is expensive, but you can enjoy Hitsumabushi with reasonable price in this restaurant. Try it!
Misen
After dinner, do you still have any space in your stomach? If YES, go to midnight meal. Now, “Taiwan Ramen”! the name is “Taiwan”, but it’s specialty of Nagoya. This restaurant Misen’s Taiwai Ramen is really spicy!! But I don’t know why, you will feel so delicious! SPICY! But DELICIOUS! But SPICY! But DELICIOUS! This is Nagoya spiral.
